There were 34 students attending the school<br \/>\nin 2009-10 academic year in 60 in 2010-11. In 2011-12 academic year 117 students were provided<br \/>\nwith free education by 6 teachers dispatched from Yangon. The schools were opened were opened at<br \/>\nMulasheedi village and Douttan ward in Putao and the text books, special editions and stationery were<br \/>\nprovided free by Htoo Foundation.<\/p>\n<p>Construction of Foundation Free<br \/>\nEducation Boarding House on 2 acres of land (100,000 square feet) at Douttan ward in Putao to<br \/>\nfacilitate peaceful learning for students from far off village. The boarding school includes a<br \/>\ntwo storey classrooms, separate accommodation for girls and boys, office, library and a<br \/>\ncomputer room. A mess hall and galley are also incorporated to the building.<br \/>\nThe library, complete with furniture, contains books to enrich the knowledge in health, science<br \/>\nand education are kept at the library for students to have ready access to the books of their<br \/>\nchoice.
