U Paw Myint Oo, CEO of Htoo Foundation commented that Htoo Foundation is
\nproud to be the main sponsor for the Miss Universe Myanmar contest, at the
\nPress conference held at Kandaw Gyi Palace Hotel, Yangon,is on the 6th
\nSeptember. This is the first of it\u2019s kind in Myanmar for 50 Years. The winner
\nwill be sent to Moscow in November 2013 where the Miss Universe 2013 will be
\nselected. He emphasized that Htoo Foundation is proud to be the main sponsor at
\nthe Miss Universe Myanmar event organized by Hello Madam Media Group.
\nThe main reason for the Sponsorship is to promote Myanmar\u2019s future pioneer
\nLadies, and show the world that Myanmar Ladies preserve the Myanmar Culture
\nwith civilized personality and a showcase of the World.
\nThe winner selected from this pageant will be awarded as Htoo Foundation\u2019s
\nAmbassador in the humanitarian work, heath and education assistance,
\ndevelopment, preservation of Myanmar Culture and lending a hand in the Peace
\nprocess of ethnic groups. Miss Burma(Myanmar) 1959, 1960 and 1961
\nrepresented Burma(Myanmara) at the Miss Universe events, and now in 2013
\nafter 50 years gap Myanmar will again enter the Miss Universe contest which
\nwill be held in 2013 November 2013 at Moscow.
\nThe contestants are not chosen yet. The Interviews will be held on the 12th
\nSeptember at Kandaw Gyi Palace Hotel. There will be excursion and
\nhumanitarian activities from 26th till 30th September 2013. Preliminary selected
\ncontestants will be trained on the 1st and 2nd October and the final selection will
\nbe on the 3rd October at National Theatre.<\/p>\n
All Humanitarian organizations assist in the Peace process, Htoo Foundation
\nassisted in the Food shortage of the people at IDP camps at Kachin State. (50)
\nRice Bags are donated to the camp at Wun Tho Monestary, (100) Rice Bags, (2)
\nTube wells, (80) stes of school uniforms for the children attending school, and
\n(5) sets of uniforms for the teachers. (100) Bags of Rice and Kyats (50) lekhs to<\/p>\n
Nan Kwae (Saint Yaw Han) IDP camp. (300) Rice Bags for Hpa Khant IDP
\ncamp, and Rice Bags and cash was donated for the Year 2000 IDPcamp, Robert
\nschool camp, and Ta Gun Taing IDP camps at Ba Maw. (1200) Lekhs Kyats
\nwas donated for the Access road to the Inn Daw Gyi, Shwe Myitzu Pagoda at
\nMohnyn. (50) lekhs Kyats each for the Cultural development of the Kachin and
\nShan Nationals livimg around Mohyn. During this Ocassion visiting Kachin
\nState Htoo Foundation donated over Kyats(2000) lekhs for the Region where
\nPeace is widely needed, and Htoo Foundation is glad to have the opportunity to
